University Open Courses in Esperanto
Welcome to the home of the University of Esperanto, a project designed to collect full-length university courses, originally taught in universities around the world, and later presented, as courses entirely in the International Language Esperanto.
Creative Commons License
All courses were originally taught to students and filmed. AS the project develops, the intention is to make all lessons available on the Internet under a Creative Commons license.
Full Course Example 1: Confronting War
If you are a student, we currently have two full-length courses for you. One is about war and peace entitled Confronting War, originally a course for American undergraduate students. It is taught by Professor Ron Glossop.
Full Course Example 2: Philosophy of Computing
A second course is about the history of computers, and it is entitle the Philosophy and History of Computing. It is given by Professor Federico Gobbo of Italy.
We are starting NOW! More Courses in Coming Years
Over the years, we hope to add one, two or three additional courses in Esperanto. The courses are not about Esperanto or about Esperanto and linguistics; the courses concerne general themes of interest to the academic world: history, philosophy, pscyhology, sociology, the sciences such as biology or astronomy, and so on.
